We’re proud to be able to help Gordon Elementary School add to its technological abilities with a $5,000 grant from our “Commitment to the Schools” program.
The funds will be used to buy a Promethean Board, which is an interactive white board (smart board), that will allow teachers to conduct virtual field trips, engage students through ActiVote technology, and even work on collaborative projects with other staff and faculty.
The board will be integrated into the Concentrating on Literacy TimeS (COLTS) program and will also be used during the summer to target students who need additional focus.
We’re excited to see how the new board is used! If you’re a proud parent of a Gordon student, we would love to hear from you in the comments section below!
