The Michael J. Fox Show
Premiering on Thursday, September 26th at 8:30 CT
Sure to be the sentimental favorite of the fall season, the Michael J. Fox show looks to be the funniest show for Fox since he was rocking the tie as Alex P. Keaton. The semi-autobiographical show centers on a man who left his TV career due to Parkinson ’s disease and has decided to return to his old job. The trailer shows a very self-aware show that will handily balance the humor and emotions caused by watching someone with this disease on and off screen.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Premiering September 17th at 7:30 CT
We admit, most of FOX’s new comedies don’t seem very promising. However, Brooklyn Nine-Nine brings the dramatic force of Andre Braugher (Homicide: Life on the Streets) and the whimsy of Andy Sandberg. It’s been a while since there has been a funny police comedy and we expect great things from this FOX offering.
Trophy Wife
Premiering Tuesday, September 24th at 8:30 CT
West Wing’s Bradley Whitford is back on the small screen in this sitcom about blended families and new relationships. Malin Ackerman (27 Dresses) plays his new, and much younger, wife looking to find her place in his complicated world. Looks like a nice blend of sass and heart. Also, the kids are pretty cute.
