With the Super Bowl just around the corner, airing Sunday, February 1 at 5:30 PM CT on NBC, plans are being made. Will you be cheering on the Patriots or the Seahawks? What dish are you taking to the party? Do you have a safe plan to get home after the game? Great Plains Communications is teaming up with our Cable Channels, Food Network to share some of our favorite recipes for this Super Bowl Sunday.

For starters, we have the Square Minis. Every burger lover knows a good slider is nothing without the patty. In this video, Alton Brown demonstrates how to make a well-seasoned, quick cooking patty to accompany any custom toppings you’d like.

Next we have Trisha Yearwood and her Slow-Cooker Mac and Cheese. With the craziness of preparing multiple dishes and entertaining guests, a slow cooker helps ease the stress while still preparing a dish that is sure to impress.

We are ending on a combination of two classic tailgating dishes with Rachael Ray’s Wingless Buffalo Chicken Pizza. She takes the tang and spice of hot wings with blue cheese, tones them down with some additional ingredients and puts it on a pizza. Not much can get better than that.

You can find additional Game Day recipes on Food Network’s website. If you have a special dish that is requested each year by your friends and family, let us know what it is in the comments below. Great Plains Communications wishes everyone a safe and yummy Super Bowl Sunday!
