Recently, the American Cable Association undertook an initiative to inform parents about the many tools
that can help them manage what their children see on television and at the movies.
We’re joining them and many other entertainment groups and Cable companies in the national
conversation about violence prevention and behavior. We want to remind viewers that every show has a
rating system that indicates the level of maturity and type of potentially offensive material the show includes.
