Travis Madron joined the Great Plains Communications team just over a month ago, finding a place in the Red Cloud, NE community as a Broadband Technician. Growing up along the Republican River in McCook, NE, Madron knew the life of a small town and feels right at home in Red Cloud. With his two daughters only an hour and a half away in Kearney, NE, he loves making time to see them.
When asked what his favorite part of living in a rural town was, he responded, “There is nothing better than living in rural Nebraska. Smart, simple, and great individuals are what make rural Nebraska the best. People are very real here, and of course we have all the changing seasons that keep you guessing.”
Other than traveling and spending time with his daughters, Madron also enjoys everything about the outdoors. You can find him bicycle racing or running, hunting or fishing, gardening or grilling food.
